Qasim Qadri
Founding engineer @ Dealflow
# About
Founding engineer who thrives in the chaos of early-stage startups. I've been the second or first engineer at two venture-backed companies, building mobile apps from scratch and scaling products to over a million users. I dropped out of traditional university to enroll in an online program so I could focus on what I love: building products that matter. From fintech to invoicing platforms, I've worn every hat: engineering, customer support, user research, and FinOps, to ship features that drive real impact. With 5+ years of experience, I'm currently building Dealflow, where we've processed close to $10M in volume.

# Experience
First team member after the founders. Built the mobile app for influencers, then pivoted to contractors and now a full-fledged invoicing platform. Shipped invoicing, design studio, payments, and ambassador referral program. Raised $1.1M pre-seed. Now processing $5M+ in volume. Also led growth engineering efforts—ran A/B experiments and implemented analytics with Mixpanel. Wearing multiple hats across engineering, growth, customer support, user research, and FinOps.
Selected for SF-based online accelerator for Easypool — a Tinder-style app for daily commuters. Received collaboration offer from a leading mobility company CEO but declined to keep focus on community-driven, non-monetized solutions. Shut down due to customer privacy concerns.
